Sense of the City
Residency at The Secret Garden, Rookery Rd, Handsworth, Birmingham to develop new work in response to engaging with children and young people with learning disabilities in outdoor environments. The focus is on how children communicate visually and make sense of their world through mark making and manipulating everyday materials.

Outcomes of the project include the creation of a permanent creative workshop space for participants to develop skills alongside artists; permanent installations of collaborative work; documentation of the project through film and photography to form the basis for a touring exhibition; three events and children gain Arts Awards.
